Privacy policy

How EOLIOS Engineering collects, uses and protects your personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable data-protection law.

This template follows GDPR requirements and describes the usual processing of a showcase site with a contact form. The fields marked to be completed (host, analytics tools, DPO where applicable) must be filled in and the whole reviewed legally before going live.

01Data controller

The controller of the personal data collected on this site is EOLIOS Engineering, whose registered office is at 68 Leonard St, London EC2A 4QS, United Kingdom. For any question regarding your data, you can write to info@eolios.eu.

02Data collected

We only collect the data strictly necessary for the purposes described below :

  • Via the contact form : name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), subject and content of your message.
  • Browsing data : if an analytics tool is used (to be completed), technical data (pages viewed, device type, connection data) may be collected in aggregated form.

No so-called “sensitive” data is collected. Required fields are indicated in the form.

03Purposes & legal basis

Responding to your requests
Processing and follow-up of requests sent via the form or by e-mail. Legal basis : pre-contractual measures / legitimate interest.
Business relationship
Management of exchanges and proposals related to an engineering project. Legal basis : legitimate interest / performance of the contract.
Analytics
Improvement of the site and its content. Legal basis : consent (analytics cookies), where applicable.

04Data recipients

Your data is intended solely for authorised EOLIOS Engineering teams. It may be processed by our technical subprocessors (host, form-sending service) acting on instruction and in compliance with the GDPR. EOLIOS Engineering does not sell or rent your data to third parties.

The contact form relies on an e-mail transmission service ; the data entered passes through this provider for the sole purpose of delivering your message. to be completed : provider name and link to its privacy policy.

05Retention period

Data from a contact request is kept for as long as necessary to process it, then archived for a maximum of 3 years from the last contact, for relationship follow-up. Data strictly related to a contracted project follows the legal accounting and commercial retention periods. Beyond that, the data is deleted or anonymised.

06Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data :

  • Right of access : obtain confirmation that data concerning you is being processed and obtain a copy of it.
  • Right to rectification : correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure : request the deletion of your data, within legal limits.
  • Right to restriction and right to object to processing, on legitimate grounds.
  • Right to portability of the data you have provided to us.
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time, where the processing is based on it.

To exercise these rights, write to info@eolios.eu (proof of identity may be requested). You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — in France the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

07Cookies

A cookie is a small file placed on your device when visiting a site. This site favours a minimal approach : only the cookies strictly necessary for operation are placed without consent ; analytics or third-party cookies, where applicable, are only placed after your consent via the dedicated banner.
