CFD simulation engineer

PermanentParisFluid mechanicsFull time

The role

Reporting to a PhD-engineer lead, you run CFD studies end to end: needs analysis, 3D modelling, meshing, data setup, computation on our HPC resources and reporting. Your playing fields: data centers, HVAC engineering, industry, wind comfort.

Your responsibilities

  • Build quality geometric models and meshes.
  • Set up and run the computations (RANS, LES, transient) on cluster & cloud.
  • Analyse the velocity, temperature and concentration fields, and calibrate on measurements.
  • Produce clear deliverables: maps, sections, videos and expert reports.
  • Liaise with clients, architects and partner engineering offices.

Your profile

  • Engineer or PhD in fluid mechanics, energy or thermal engineering.
  • Command of a CFD solver (OpenFOAM, Fluent, StarCCM+ or equivalent).
  • Scientific rigour, analytical mind and a sense for reporting.
  • A taste for teamwork; technical English is a plus.

Internship — CFD simulation engineer

InternshipParis4 to 6 monthsGap year / final year

The role

An immersion in the CFD engineer's craft, in learning and discovery mode. Continuously supported by a PhD-engineer lead, you gradually gain autonomy: you take part in real studies (data centers, HVAC engineering, industry) while learning EOLIOS's tools and method.

What you will do

  • Discover the full CFD chain: geometry, meshing, computation, reporting.
  • Contribute, in a pair, to real studies supervised step by step.
  • Train on the solvers and the high-performance computing resources.
  • Prepare summary visuals and sections for the reports.
  • Run, at the end of the internship, a project in near-autonomy.

Your profile

  • Engineering-school or master's student (energy, fluid mechanics, thermal).
  • Foundations in fluid mechanics and the desire to learn CFD.
  • Curiosity, rigour and a taste for teamwork.
  • First hands-on experience with a CFD tool is a plus, not a prerequisite.

Fire simulation / fluid mechanics engineer

PermanentParisFire safetyFull time

The role

You carry out smoke-control and fire-safety engineering studies: simulation of the smoke, temperature and visibility, sizing of the systems, and demonstration of how people are kept safe (ESSOC law, IT 246/263).

Your responsibilities

  • Model fire and smoke-control scenarios (FDS / CFD).
  • Simulate evacuation and verify the tenability criteria.
  • Write the engineering notes and regulatory files (ESSOC, IT).
  • Liaise with inspection offices, project-management assistants and owners.

Your profile

  • Engineer in energy, fluid mechanics or fire safety.
  • Knowledge of ERP / high-rise regulations appreciated.
  • Command of a fire-simulation tool (FDS) or CFD.
  • An eye for regulatory detail and strong writing skills.

Draughtsperson-infographer / architect

PermanentParis3D modellingFull time

The role

You bring the studies to life: 3D modelling of the geometries, drawing layout, and infographics of the simulation results. You turn computed fields into clear, striking visuals — maps, sections, 3D views and videos — that make EOLIOS's signature.

Your responsibilities

  • Model buildings and equipment in 3D (CAD) for computation.
  • Prepare the geometries for CFD meshing.
  • Produce the renders, diagrams and report layouts.
  • Create reporting videos and animations.

Your profile

  • Training in technical drawing, architecture or infographics.
  • Command of 3D CAD tools and a graphics suite.
  • Aesthetic sense, rigour and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with a technical / industrial world is a plus.
