From wind-tunnel testing to high-fidelity numerical simulation

EOLIOS Ingénierie was born of a conviction: numerical simulation can make the most complex thermal and airflow phenomena visible — and controllable. Where physical testing is expensive and fixes a single configuration, CFD opens up the field of scenarios: you compute, you compare, you optimise before you even build. From this founding idea grew a consultancy that places scientific rigour and clarity of reporting at the heart of every project.

EOLIOS came to life in France around a team of engineers convinced that computational fluid dynamics should leave the laboratories to serve real projects. The first studies — HVAC engineering, industrial natural ventilation, wind comfort — established a method: model faithfully, measure to calibrate, report clearly.

The high-fidelity bet

High-performance computing & PhD engineers

To never compromise on precision, EOLIOS invested in a hybrid computing infrastructure — in-house HPC servers, elastic power in the cloud — and structured its expertise around seven areas of expertise. The team grew with PhD engineers in fluid mechanics, one lead per discipline.

2023

Recognition & reach

EOLIOS collaborated with Ateliers Jean Nouvel and Terrell on the Shaaran resort in AlUla; joined the Impulse Partners ecosystem; was featured in Challenges magazine and present at Data Centre World Paris. A year that anchored EOLIOS's CFD signature among architects, operators and the press.

2024

The rise of the data center

Present at the 2024 Data Center Show (stand H90), EOLIOS multiplied the thermal digital twins of data centers, from server-room diagnosis to external simulation of the air coolers. CFD established itself as the reference tool for securing cooling and optimising PUE.

Today

An international reference

EOLIOS has 9 offices — Paris, London, Milan, Munich, Madrid, Warsaw, Casablanca and in the United States — and supports manufacturers, operators, architects and project owners on their most demanding projects, from data center to industry, from commercial buildings to critical infrastructure.

The founding bet

Making the invisible visible.

Airflows, heat transfer, pollutant dispersion, thermal stratification: so many phenomena the eye cannot perceive but which decide the comfort, energy and safety of a building. CFD turns them into clear maps and concrete decisions.

This stance — model to decide — guided EOLIOS from its very first projects and still structures each of its studies today, from a one-day consultation to the most complex R&D work.
