Our history
The origin
The roots of EOLIOS go back to the end of the 2000s. At that time, digital flow simulation had already proven its industrial maturity in other sectors (aeronautics, automotive) and was also beginning to be established in the construction industry.
Thibaut DEGORRE
was one of the first engineers to follow this trend by studying natural ventilation for shopping malls in wind tunnels, then by developing the CFD department at INEX from 2013.
Establishing these new services in a more conservative market proved to be an initially arduous, but ultimately unstoppable process. Today, the importance of flow simulation is widely accepted as an indispensable tool for demanding construction projects. This on condition that the studies are carried out by a rigorous methodology and by confirmed experts. The development of this department is based on the success of projects such as the design of a heating system for the Davis Cup 2014 at Pierre Mauroy Stadiumthe validation the broadcasting systems of the Bordeaux Metropole ArenaWe have also been involved in the protection of the works of art in the Louvre and more recently in the sizing of the ventilation systems of the future Olympic swimming pool in Saint Denis.
“The simulation references have expanded over the years to include other simulation and consulting services, with building thermal simulation being an equally important pillar.
The founding of EOLIOS was therefore a logical step to enable the use of modern simulation tools in architecture and building technology on a new basis for the benefit of all.”

Nowadays
Today, our engineers provide modern simulation methods for the fields of architecture, building services engineering and energy. Our most important tools are numerical flow simulation (CFD) and thermal simulation of buildings and systems. We are also developing a real know-how in industrial simulation, laboratories, diffusion of pollutants and fire studies.
The focus is on simulation-based consulting, concept development and optimization. Our goal is to help our clients better meet the demands of contemporary construction.
