A compact, high-density layout inside the building translates into a compact layout for the external cooling equipment. This leads to significant challenges and problems in managing the airflow outside the building.

Most manufacturer’s equipment documents provide minimum clearance requirements for equipment. However, these guidelines do not take into account ambient air conditions, wind speed or obstruction height.
