Today we present the studies carried out for the Palais Omnisport de Paris Bercy.
As part of the feasibility study for optimizing the air-conditioning systems, EOLIOS and SPHERE Ingénierie carried out a series of studies to define the sizing of the systems. For its main hall, the Hôtel Aréna has technical installations that will have to cope with extremely demanding summer indoor climatic conditions for the 2024 Olympics.
This involved numerical simulation of the dynamic, thermal and aeraulic behavior of the various phenomena taking place in the arena, and the sizing of the associated technical rooms.
In this way, we were able to select equipment and draw up feasibility plans.
The studies made it possible to present the temperature, air speed and mixing conditions in the volumes studied, depending on the technology chosen, and to carry out the power sizing for the site.
